The third day of this trip was a monday, and just as I always do on mondays, I woke up around 9:30…. This was way too late for our schedule, so I had to do some rethinking. My mom also wanted to see if there were any cherry blossoms left along Han river, so that would make sure I had to clear the whole schedule before lunch. We did fight a bit over it, but in the end we managed to get to yeouido again. Once we got there, there were of course no flowers left. My mom was sad, but I found something that made me happy at least. Next to the walking path at yeouido there were several newly planted trees, and it turned out these were memorial trees! But, not any memorial trees! this was memorial trees for K-pop stars! I found Infinite, SHINee, Super Junior, D.O from EXO, and several others. I thought it was a sweet idea to have a few trees planted to remember special events in the idols life with, but my dad just couldn’t understand it. I guess it’s because he’s old and not a fangirl, but still, it would be nice if he could understand…
After walking along the entire yeouido park, we got up to the subway and took the subway to hongdae. Then plan was to find coffee prince (Which was freaking impossible to do) but the maps I had downloaded were crap literally. So we got lost and ended up having lunch at a Paris Baguette again. I think that when I move to Seoul once school is over, I most probably will end up eating at Paris Baguette every day, since I’m usually scared to try new foods.
During lunch I however managed to find the way to coffee prince thanks to Google Maps (I cannot stress enough how important I think it is to rent a phone in korea, even if you will only use it as a map.) and it turned out it was just around the corner. Sigh.
